EFT Rabbi
1) With a scientific, postgraduate university education, HOW and WHY did I choose to focus my adult life around my classical, Orthodox Jewish Rabbinical training and lifestyle?
2) As an Orthodox Rabbi/Therapist, with lots of training, tools, and practical experience, WHY did I choose to specialize in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and HOW does EFT fit with Orthodox Judaism? OR, Is there anything religious and contradictory about EFT?
This site will answer these questions and connect you to my personal help-therapeutic, educational, physical, and spiritual. I hope to merit to help empower you with the best tool I know for you to get quick, effective relief for almost any physical, emotional, and even spiritual problem that has limited your progress.
Even more, to enable you to make the best of your personality traits, and transform any non-productive behaviors and habits into actualization of your full potential. In fact, the tool we will learn together is at least as helpful to already successful, highly functional people, as it is to ill, troubled, or learning disabled people. And EFT often helps with those impossible problems where youve tried everything and nothing else works.
The added dimension here, alongside the many international EFT websites, comes from me being an Orthodox Jew and Chassidic Rabbi therapist. We will directly focus on the spiritual dimension of psychologically healing our mind-body as it relates both to ancient and modern traditional Jewish legal and mystical sources, as well as to successful daily communication/relationships and behavior in our pluralistic world.
The goal and hope of my site and work is that everyone will gain effective strategies using EFT, as well as spiritual understandings from the Jewish sources HOW TO be more successful with our personality traits, behaviors, and practical everyday human relationships. Because Judaism defines that the essential characteristic of humans are: speaking, communicating beings, Judaism has a clear measuring rod for our success: How compassionately we behave, and How effectively we communicate!
In Ethics of the Fathers, the Jewish Rabbinical Sages state that a developed person is tolerated and even beloved by his surroundings, and creates harmony amongst people. Are we genuinely respected, beloved, and helping others?
Though connection to G-d is another dimension from human relationships, success in our human relationships does indicate HOW much our everyday lives are permeated with direct spiritual connection to G-d. As the Holy founder of Chassidism, Rabbi Yisroel Baal Shem Tov taught about 250 years ago, we are where our thoughts are!
In fact, our goal in life is to become G-dly in our human ways. The Torah says that G-d behaves according to 13 very specific Attributes of Mercy. These 13 Attributes of Mercy are a manual for improving our personality traits and behaviors: to learn to always respond according to the appropriate Attributes of Mercy. My personal experience at home with my wife and many children, and in my work, that EFT is the best tool I have to help me achieve these goals. I hope we will join hands for this empowering journey to becoming more connected humanly and to G-d, together!
